Naba Al-Ikram meets pilgrims at Madinah Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport and transfers them to their hotel, a short drive of roughly 20 to 25 km taking about 20 to 30 minutes. The meeting point is sent ahead in writing and the driver is briefed on the hotel before he leaves the airport.

Arriving at Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport

Madinah Airport is modern, serene and far less stressful than Jeddah. But after a long-haul journey, navigating the taxi dispatch rank outside the terminal can still be taxing — especially with language barriers, or drivers negotiating off-meter fares for crowded passenger vans.

The drive from the airport into the Markaziyah is concise: roughly 20 to 25 kilometres, 20 to 30 minutes in standard traffic. What a confirmed private transfer changes is everything either side of that drive.

  • Distance to the Markaziyah

    20–25 km

  • Typical transit time

    20–30 min

What the transfer actually includes

A true meet and greet. Your driver waits inside the arrivals area holding a clean nameplate as you clear customs.

Direct hotel access. The pedestrian zone around the Prophet’s Mosque has strict barrier gates and electronic bollards. Our drivers know which access corridors remain open for private passenger drop-offs at hotels such as the Oberoi, Dar Al Taqwa, Anwar Al Madinah Mövenpick and Pullman Zamzam.

Ihram clarification. If you are landing in Madinah first, you do not enter Ihram at the airport. You stay in your normal clothes, rest, and spend your days in Madinah. When you are ready to travel south to Makkah for Umrah, your driver stops at Dhul Hulayfah — Abyar Ali, the Miqat for Madinah — so you can shower, pray and make your Niyyah properly.
